- Mushroom stew
- New potatoes
Boil the new potatoes.
Make the mushroom stew
- 300 ml fresh wild mushrooms, chopped
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- Black pepper, salt
- 200 ml whipping cream
- Butter, for frying
- Seasonal fresh herbs, to garnish
Chop the onion finely and put it in a dry frying pan with the mushrooms. Sauté them, moving them around gently, until the liquid from the mushrooms has vanished almost completely. Season with black pepper and salt. Add the whipping cream and let the mixture boil for 3-5 minutes. If necessary, add some thickening agent such as corn flour.
Grill the pike steaks lightly from both sides.
Serve with season’s fresh salad.
